Grace Network of Martinsville and Henry County
Short Term Support for Long Term Solutions

Help us help our neighbors in need

The United Way will be collecting food donations at Celebration 2009 at Martinsville Speedway for three area nonprofits; Grace Network is one of the beneficiaries of this effort.  For the full story, click here:  http://www.martinsvillebulletin.com/article.cfm?ID=19498&back=archives

We are grateful to the Speedway and the United Way for this effort on our behalf, as well as the other agencies fighting hunger in our area.  We hope you will have a great time at Celebration 2009, and at the same time make a little extra effort to help those who need it in our community.

HOPE Initiative Money Management Mentoring

Grace Network is partnering with the United Way of Henry County and Martinsville’s HOPE initiative with a new program beginning in May. The Money Management Mentoring Program will match trained Mentors with young single working mothers throughout the next six to twelve months, guiding them with financial management basics to help break the cycle of poverty in our community. Age-specific activities are included monthly for their children as well.

If you are interested in this program, please contact Program Coordinator, Susan Perkins @ (276) 252-7785 or via email: susan@unitedwayofhcm.org as soon as possible for further information.
