Grace Network Board of Directors Elects New Officers
Grace Network Board of Directors recently elected new officers.
Becky McKinney has been elected to serve as President. McKinney became involved with Grace Network in the early planning stages of the organization helping to create volunteer guidelines and training. She joined the Board of Directors in 2010.
In addition to her Grace Network association she has been employed as a Social Worker with Henry County DSS and Director of Programs and Program Coordinator for Volunteer Emergency Families for Children. McKinney is active in Virginia Baptist life serving on the VA Baptist Mission Board as well as serving as Vice President and President of Woman’s Missionary Union of VA. She also serves on the Executive Committee of the Henry County Baptist Association. She is a member of Fort Trial Baptist Church.
The Board of Directors also elected Milt Davis, Vice President, Amanda Witt, Secretary, and Marsha Frith, Treasurer. Dick Ephgrave, Marsha Frith, and Betty Heaton were elected to a second, three year term. Jim Reaghard was newly elected to a three year term.
Grace Network is a non-profit, first stop center of resources providing essential life needs to residents of Martinsville and Henry County who find themselves in crisis situations. The faith based volunteer organization receives funding from area church congregations, individuals, foundations, and corporations.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or degree in process preferred; a combination of education and experience equal to a bachelor’s degree will be considered. Experience in supervision and administration, especially in planning and overseeing programs, desired. Non-profit experience a plus. Membership in a partnering congregation preferred. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and computer skills required.
